All those taking part in the Mahurangi Regatta do so at their own risk and responsibility. The Mahurangi Cruising Club (MCC), officers and any organisation, sponsor or volunteers associated with this event have no liability for any damage, personal loss, injury, death or penalty suffered by any boat, crew or any other person taking part, prior to, during or after the Regatta.

The MCC, its officers and volunteers shall not be responsible for the seaworthiness of a boat whose entry is accepted and/or the sufficiency and/or adequacy of its equipment or the competence of its skipper or crew. The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in the Regatta or to continue sailing is hers alone. The MCC reserves the right in its sole and uncontrolled discretion to refuse any entry.

I agree to be bound by the Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea; by the Safety Regulations, Rules and Conditions in the Notice of Regatta and the Regatta Sailing Instructions; and by the decisions of the Regatta Committee.
